Release Date 28 April 2022

Since the atmosphere becomes tense these days, NKUST will keep updating university pandemic prevention measures, please follow up with the updated information to apply for leave(s) based on the updated announcement.

Students who have been regarded as confirmed, home isolation, or self-health management cases and therefore cannot attend physical classrooms

According to the epidemic prevention measures released by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC), students who have been regarded as confirmed, home isolation, or self-health management cases and therefore cannot attend physical classrooms can apply for “COVID-19 epidemic prevention leave” in the Student Leave and Absence System.

Students must upload a proof of COVID-19 prevention-related notification for instructors to review and approve. Proofs could be a snapshot of a call, a text message notice, or a paper COVID-19 examination or quarantine notice from health authorities.

Note: The attachment has a quick guide on applying for leave(s) of absence. This guide may help you get familiar with the procedure.

Students who are required to get PCR tests, and therefore cannot attend physical classrooms

Students who are required to get PCR tests, and therefore cannot attend physical classrooms, should apply for “COVID-19 epidemic prevention leave” and upload a proof of COVID-19 prevention-related notification.
