【Announcement】Hybrid Work Model Starts for Campus Safety

Release Date 24 Jan 2022

Since the atmosphere becomes tense these days, NKUST will start a hybrid work model from Jan 25 to Feb 20. To ensure our community's safety during this hard time, half of our faculty members and staff will be working remotely and the other half in-office to keep administrative tasks ongoing.

Fighting against the pandemic requires every individual to be involved. Following are the instructions for any of our NKUST community members who have visited any COVID exposure venues:

1. If you have been regarded as a confirmed or home isolation or self-health management case, please report your situation to the school by filling the NKUST Health Care Survey for COVID-19 and contact any of the below contact persons for any assistance.

NOTES for Faculty and Staff: Please follow the below Guideline and apply working from home on the system or take leaves.

2. Remote Working Application Guideline

  • Log in to the Student Portal
  • Go to the Online Application tab from the Personnel System folder on the Student Portal home page.
  • Click “Remote Working Application” from the menu on the left.

  • Select the starting date and ending date of your work-from-home period, key in remarks (if any), attach documents (if any), and click “Submit.”

NOTES: While working from home, you must clock in on the attendance system on time. And you must write a daily work log and submit it to your supervisor, who will send it to the Personnel Office.

As Chinese New Year is coming, we sincerely hope the situation will be getting better before and after the holidays. To keep ourselves safe and healthy, we’d like to urge our community members to have your masks on all the time, wash your hands constantly, and keep social distancing as possible as you can whenever you are. We believe that the hardest days will end soon.
